NEW RELEASE: Unwanted Man: the debut full length album by Sabastian Roberts

Sabastian’s debut full-length album Unwanted Man was produced by industry veteran Mark Oliverius, independent Nashville music producer, songwriter and keyboard artist. Oliverius has toured with many bands and his songwriting credits include compositions for Joe Diffie, Trick Pony, Sawyer Brown, TG Sheppard and Ricky Skaggs, among others. He is currently Lorrie Morgan's musical director.

Oliverius’ talent, insight and dedication have enabled him to successfully weave all the different elements of Unwanted Man together to create a rich musical tapestry, and a listening experience people will want to revisit again and again.

“Working with Mark was simply incredible. His sheer musicality, his instincts for orchestration, it all helped make this album what it is,” commented Sabastian

Each track on Unwanted Man stands on its own as a work of instrumental and vocal poetry. Highlights include the powerful duet with Lorrie Morgan, Dress For The Rain, and the title track Unwanted Man. It’s Still Country To Me and Let’s Get Rowdy are a stompin’ tip of the cowboy hat to all the country greats, to the rich traditions of Nashville and the best in American country music.

These are accompanied by a stirring rendition of Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word that honors the artistry and genius of Elton John’s 1976 worldwide hit. Sabastian’s richly textured vocals, combined with some country color, delivers music that will stir the soul.

These works are rounded out with Sabastian’s own composition He Lied, an autobiographical revelation about childhood pain that is sure to touch the listener.
